CM Nathan Hinds

- Assistant Coach

Hi everyone! My name is Nathan Hinds, my students call me coach Nate. I have been coaching chess for over a decade now. I have experience coaching international and local students, who have made significant progress and have won many medals and trophies. I have a passion for teaching chess and helping my students to reach their full potential. Some of my accomplishments as a chess player and coach are:

I use the A.S.A.P method with my students:

A- analyze students’ games and provide feedback for improvement. Analysis of chess games is very important. With this analysis I am able to identify student’s weaknesses and strengths.

S- solve  chess puzzles. Students are given various tactics to develop their tactical and strategical skills.

A-abandon bad habits. Using information from game analysis, a program will be designed to help students from making mistakes again.

P-practice, practice practice! As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Students are encouraged to play lots of chess games. Then games will be analyzed.

My greatest joy as a chess coach comes from seeing students reap the rewards of their hard work! I firmly believe that once a student puts in the work perpetually, the results will show.
